Blue Electric Lemonade Cocktail Recipe

Make blue electric lemonade with only 4 ingredients - vodka, blue curaçao, lemonade, and a splash of lemon lime soda. This easy summer cocktail has a tropical flavor with a carbonated spritz. It’s perfect for the 4th of July, summer BBQs, and pool parties! You can escape to the beach without leaving the backyard.

Equipment

  • 1 cocktail shaker or pitcher
  • 1 strainer
  • 2 tall glasses

Ingredients
  

  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 2 ounces blue curaçao
  • 4 ounces lemonade
  • 1 splash lemon-lime soda or plain club soda
  • 1 slice lemon for garnish, optional

Instructions
 

  • Add vodka, blue curaçao, and lemonade to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake well.
  • Fill two tall glasses halfway with ice. Strain the cocktail and divide evenly between the two glasses.
  • Top off with lemon-lime soda. Add to taste or fill to the rim of the glass.
  • Garnish with a lemon slice and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Taste and Adjust: Adjust the sweetness and tanginess of the lemonade to suit your taste. Use maple syrup or agave nectar for sweetness.
  • Garnish Creatively: Garnish with a lemon wheel or fruit cut-outs for enhanced presentation.
  • Serve Immediately: Electric lemonade is best served fresh and cold. 
  • Try It Frozen: Mix the alcohol and lemonade and place in the freezer. Once frozen, add 8 ounces of lemon lime soda and blend into a slushy.
