Inspired by the iconic ranch dipping sauce from Wingstop, 4 ingredients and 5 minutes are all you need to make this insanely good ranch dressing that tastes just like the original. This copycat recipe is deceptively easy to make - you’ll have a restaurant-quality sauce that goes well with anything in no time!
Place mayonnaise, buttermilk, pepper, and both seasoning packets in a bowl.
Stir together until well combined.
Store covered in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
Notes
Use high-quality mayonnaise since it’s the base of your ranch dressing. Use full-fat, good quality mayo like Hellman’s, Duke’s, or Best Foods.
Use cold buttermilk and mayonnaise for this recipe which helps achieve the right consistency and keeps the dressing fresh for longer.
Add a little extra mayonnaise to thicken the dressing or add a splash more of buttermilk to thin it. You can also leave some of the buttermilk out to start, then add as needed until you reach your desired consistency.
Add a pinch of garlic powder, onion powder, or a squeeze of lemon juice if you want to give your ranch dressing a flavor boost.
Wingstop ranch dressing is best served cold, so keep it in the fridge until you're ready to use it.
Serve: Serve with chicken wings and any other preferred dippers. Drizzle on top of pizza, nachos, or quesadilla or use as a sauce for sandwiches, wraps, or tacos.Store: Store leftover or made-ahead Wingstop Ranch dressing in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Do not freeze. When ready to use, simply give the dressing a quick stir or shake before serving.
