Homemade Daily Shower Cleaner
Do you want to keep your shower spotless in between seasonal deep cleans? This homemade shower cleaner has got you covered. It’s simple, easy to make, and effective at fighting soap scum build-up. You only need 3 ingredients and five minutes!

Equipment
- 1 Spray bottle opaque if possible
- 1 Measuring cup
- 1 Funnel
Materials
- ½ cup rubbing alcohol isopropyl alcohol 70% or stronger
- ½ cup hydrogen peroxide
- 1½ cup water
- 10-15 drops essential oil optional
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a spray bottle and shake well to combine.
- Apply to all shower surfaces. Let dry and walk away. You don’t need to rinse or wipe off.
- Store the remaining spray in a cool dark place, out of direct sunlight. Shake before applying and use within six months.
Notes
Lemon, lavender, and eucalyptus are nice essential oils for this home cleaner. Add individually or in combination with one another.
