Popeye’s Coleslaw Copycat Recipe

This creamy, tangy Popeye’s Coleslaw recipe tastes just like what you would order at the popular American fast food restaurant. Zesty raw cabbage, carrots, and onions tossed with a creamy mayonnaise-based dressing makes a delicious side dish with only 15 minutes of prep time.

Ingredients
  

For the Dressing:

For the Salad:

  • 6 cups green cabbage finely shredded
  • ½ cup carrot shredded
  • 1 small yellow onion minced or shredded

Instructions
 

  • Whisk all dressing ingredients together in a small mixing bowl. Then, set aside.
  • Toss the cabbage, carrot, and onion in a large mixing bowl. Pour the dressing over and mix well until the dressing coats everything evenly.
  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

Substitute mayonnaise with Greek yogurt or white vinegar in place of apple cider vinegar, if preferred.
