Author: Jessica Haggard
When you need a dish that is both effortless and full of flavor, parmesan and garlic wings are the way to go. Their crispy texture and rich parmesan coating make them perfect for everything from weeknight dinners to game-day spreads. Serve them as an appetizer, pair them with your favorite sides for a full meal, or enjoy them as a quick and satisfying snack.
Set your oven to 400 °F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. This keeps the wings from sticking and makes cleanup simple.
Melt the butter in a small pan over low heat or in an oven-safe dish. In another bowl, mix parmesan, parsley, salt, and pepper for the flavorful coating.
Dip each chicken wing in the melted butter, then roll it in the parmesan mixture to coat it fully. Lay the wings out on the baking sheet, leaving space between them for even cooking.
Bake the wings for 45 minutes until they are crispy and golden brown. Let them cool slightly before serving warm. Enjoy!
Notes
Give your wings a unique touch by using homemade spice blends like ranch seasoning or a garlic herb rub.
Pat the wings dry with paper towels before cooking to remove excess moisture and ensure a crispy texture.
Arrange the wings in a single layer with enough room between them to crisp up properly instead of steaming.
Prefer air frying? You can easily make crispy, delicious chicken wings with this recipe using your air fryer.
Switch up the flavors with fresh basil, thyme, rosemary, cilantro, or an Italian herb blend. Use what you have and make it your own.
Add parmesan before baking, then sprinkle more on top right after they come out of the oven for an extra cheesy bite.
Parmesan is naturally salty, so taste first before adding extra salt to keep the seasoning just right.
